International Accreditation 42nd Anniversary: Pan-American School

Pan-American School

Just like the day it opened on March 2nd, 1971 the principles on which Pan-American School was founded are still valid. Today, its bilingual education within a multi-cultural environment and an emphasis on values – Excellence, Responsibility, Solidarity, Honesty and Respect – is still one of its special characteristics.

Since its foundation 42 years ago, Pan-American School is strongly committed to updating its academic and co-curricular  programs. Each year it reviews and improves its curricular proposal and constantly seeks to incorporate the latest learning resources.

In the year 2004 the Board of Directors decided to make contact with two of the world’s most prestigious organizations to initiate the process of international accreditation: New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) of the United States of America and Council of International Schools (CIS) of Europe.

After receiving this double accreditation, Pan-American School has continued working on a daily basis to maintain high quality educational standards, in line with recommendations provided by NEASC and CIS. At the beginning of 2012 an international team visited our school again, and confirmed their endorsement.

Four decades later, we are still a family institution, the home of hundreds of girls and boys, who learn, grow and develop day-by-day under the care and guidance of teachers and other staff committed to our fundamental values.

There are still many pages to be written in the life of Pan-American School.
